Prayer services for Mrs. Mildred Louise Johnson, 98, of Cookeville will be held Sunday, May 20 at 7 p.m. in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with Chuck Overton officiating. Graveside services and interment will be held at Tuesday, May 22 at 11a.m. in Evergreen Cemetery in Evergreen, IL. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Johnson died Friday morning, May 18, 2012 at her home. She was born May 8, 1914 in Chicago, IL to the late Frederick and Maria Stoll Spielman Seydel. She was a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bertram Johnson, two sons, Teddy Spielman and Robert E. Johnson, two sisters, Lorriane Morrison and Gladys Seydel. Mrs. Johnson is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Donald Spielman of Celina and Fred and Lucy Johnson of Goodyear, AZ, two daughters and sons-in-law, Gladys Marie and Bill Head of Moss, TN and Glynis and Melvin Douglas of Baxter, a daughter-in-law, Sharon Johnson and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. The family wishes a special thank you to Margaret Smith of Celina for devotion and care during her last days.
