Funeral Services for Michael Dewayne Gentry, age 53, of Springfield TN will be Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the West Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening, August 6, 2012 from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday, August 7 from noon until time of the service. Michael passed away Friday, August 3, 2012 at the NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield TN. He was born September 14, 1958 in Nashville TN to Ruth Bumbalough Gentry and the late Herb “Snookie” Gentry. Mr. Gentry was the Manager of Logistics for A.O. Smith Manufacturing Company in Ashland City TN. Mr. Gentry is survived by his mother, Ruth Gentry of Brentwood TN and one brother, Greg Gentry of Washington D.C. He is also survived by several uncles, aunts, and cousins. In addition to his father, Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents; Willene and Clinton Bumbalough and Ova and Fate Gentry. Bro. Ken Haney will officiate the services.
