Meg Howell

A memorial gathering for Mrs. Eleanor Megan "Meg" Howell, age 46 of Cookeville, will be held Monday, November 21st from 5:00pm until 8pm at the Cookeville chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home.

Meg passed away Sunday November 13, 2022 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center following a brief illness.

She was born February 8, 1976 in Fayetteville, AR to James Davis and the late Eleanor Broadhurst Davis.

Meg lived in Lake Helen, FL during her middle school years before moving to the Cookeville area in high school. She was a 1993 graduate of Upperman High and attended Tennessee Tech. She worked with her husband Wayne as a contractor and monitor of alarm systems.

Meg had a wonderful and outgoing personality. She loved everyone, every animal and was always concerned that everyone be happy. She didn't hesitate to speak her mind and tell it like it is. She enjoyed all things tie dye, time spent crafting, baking and riding horses.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a brother, Nick Davis.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband of 19 years, Wayne Howell; daughters, Isabella Sky Howell and Lilliana Kathleen Howell; brothers, Jim Davis and Scott Davis; mother and father in law, Kenneth Wayne and Linda Faye Howell; and by sisters in law, Heather Michelle Bean, Teresa Lynn Reed and Kel Davis.
