Funeral services for Mr. Max Lewis Hoese 90, of Cookeville will be held Tuesday June 19 at 1 p.m. in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the McDonald Cemetery in Clay County. Pastor Tim Sharpe and Rev. Fred Hawkins will officiate. Mr. Hoese died Saturday morning June 16, 2012 at his home. He was born August 12, 1921 in Worthington, Indiana to the late Frank Albert and Juanita Clausin Gologher Hoese. Mr. Hoese was a retired foreman with the former Cookeville Planning Mills and was a U S Marine Veteran of World War II. He helped build and organize Cookeville First Church of God where he attended for many years and was currently attending Boma First Church of God. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the love of his life, Christine Hoese, a brother, Frank Hoese, and five sisters, Lillan, Louise, Eleanor, Ann, and Helen. Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Joyce Hoese of Cookeville, Jerry and Della Hoese of Marianna, FL; three grandsons, Gary (Cassandra) Hoese, Terry (Amy) Hoese and Brian(Hannah) Hoese and five great grandchildren, Darius, Madison, Sophia, Isaac and Ariannao all of Greenville, TN. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Mr. Hoese"�s family will receive friends Monday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
