COOKEVILLE -- Funeral services for Mary Inez Coomer, 90, of Cookeville, will be held Sunday, Jan. 4, at 1 p.m. from the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009 from 3 to 8 p.m. at the chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crest Lawn Cemetery. Mrs. Coomer died Friday morning, Jan. 2, 2009 at her home. She was born August 28, 1918, in Jackson County TN to the late Amos Davidson and Sarah Vinson Davidson.. Mrs. Coomer was retired from Wilson Sporting Goods and was a loving mother and wife. She was a member of the Willow Avenue Church of Christ. She is survived by son: Lewis Coomer; and two daughters-in-law, Wilma Coomer and Pat Coomer, both of Cookeville: Three Sisters, Beatrice Greenwood, Aline Dyer and Betty Medlin. She is also survived by Four Grandchildren: Teresa Sparks, Terry Coomer and Jim Coomer, all of Cookeville: and Susan Galbreath of Nashville: Six Great-Grandchildren: Andrew, Jake, and Carley Sparks and Heather Coomer of Cookeville, and Braden and Ailey Galbreath of Nashville. Preceded in Death by: Her parents: Her husband, Floyd Coomer, One son, James Coomer, Two bothers: Houston Davidson and J.D. Davidson, and Two Sisters: Velma Burgess and Vera Dyer. Date and Time of Service: Sunday, January 4, 2009, 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home with interment Crest Lawn Cemetery. Bro. Clarence Deloach and Bro. Mike Webb.
