Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Frances Hall, 74 of Cookeville will be held at 2pm Sunday, May 18 at Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with Rev. Dwight Henry officiating. Interment will follow at Crest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 5 – 8 pm, Saturday from 12 – 8 pm and again Sunday from 12 pm until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Hall died Wednesday May 14, 2014 at her home. She was born July 11, 1939 in Dekalb County, TN to the late Silas Roy and Maggie Deweese Herron. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Don Keith Hall; two brothers, Ross and Johnny Herron; and two sisters, Dorothy Brown and Carol Ensor. Mrs. Hall was an entrepreneur. She owned and operated several small businesses. Locally she was a co-owner of Baxter Flea Market, owner of Buffalo Valley Restaurant and Hotel, and owner of Big "O" Donuts. She was especially proud of her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who lived life to the fullest. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Terrie Hall of Cookeville, John and Sue Hall of Brighton, MI; three daughters and son-in-law, Kelly McCauley, Belinda Palmer, and Leslie and Bill Ritenour, all of Cookeville; two brothers and sister-in-law, Lonnie and Jan Herron of Hershey, MI, and Hank Herron of Baxter; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Madelene and Bob Victory, Shirley and Darryl Maddux, all of Buffalo Valley, TN, Barbara and Bill Haggard of Baxter, and Janice Thomas of Buffalo Valley, TN; thirteen grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hall's grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
