Mary Frances Nash

Funeral Services for Mrs. Mary Frances Nash, age 84 of Cookeville, will be Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. and again on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until time of service. Burial will follow in the Nash Cemetery. Mrs. Nash passed on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Nash was born in Overton County, TN to the late Herbert Peek and Hazel Roark Peek. Frances freely gave of her love to others, taught Sunday School and lived a Christian life truly serving her Lord while ministering faithfully with her husband Leroy, for fifty two years. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed reading, traveling, cooking and was always willing to help anyone in need. Frances is survived by three daughters, Donna Nash, Barbara Nash Viamonte (husband Jorge) and Beverly Nash (husband Harold) all of Cookeville; six grandchildren, Miranda O’Dell (husband Scott), Natalie Nash, Sasha Long Pytynia, Celeste Nash (fianc Cody Smith), Joshua Long and Jacob Viamonte; ten great grandchildren Caitlyn, Ryan, Callie & Beau O’Dell; Phillip, Chloe & Michael Blair; Sarah Kennedy, Haylee Long & Andrew Pytynia. She is also survived by one sister, Virginia Stewart of Birmingham, Al. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Nash was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Nash, one son, Philip Nash and an infant sister, Margaret Sue Peek. Bro. Charlie Hutchinson will officiate the services.
