Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Emma Gaw, 90 of Cookeville will be held Sunday February 3 at 1 p.m. in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Cemetery. Rev. James C. Nabors will officiate. Mrs. Gaw died Wednesday evening January 30, 2013 in Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born September 6, 1922 in Putnam County, Tennessee to the late Haskell and Settie Burgess Nabors. Mrs. Gaw and her late husband owned and operated Jesse"�s Market and Gaw and Thompson Meat Processing until their retirement. She was a member of The Church of God of Cookeville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Gaw; son, Buddy Gaw; three sisters, Vola McAlpin, Novella Roberson, and Vida Nabors; and four brothers, Harvey Nabors, Lloyd Nabors, Comer Nabors and Bonnell Nabors. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Tommy Thompson; son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Donna Gaw all of Cookeville; elevn grandchildren, Cristy (Matt) Betcher, Jennifer (John) Boswell, Tommy Thompson Jr, Tim (Jonamie) Thompson, Kevin (Roxanne) Thompson, Kyle (Becky) Thompson, Ronnie (Vicki) Gaw, Ronda Gaw, Landon (Kelly) Gaw, Crystal (Jason) Blythe, and Dawn (Brad) Trousdale; twenty two great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Debbie Gaw; brother and sister-in-law, J. R. and Juanita Nabors of Cookeville; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Ruby and Henry Messer of Orlando, FL and Jo Ann and Ralph James of Auburndale, FL. Honorary Pallbearers will be Zach Thompson, Alex Thompson, Cameron Gaw, and Andrew Boswell. Active Pallbearers will be Tommy Thompson Jr, Tim Thompson, Kevin Thompson, Klye Thompson, Ronnie Gaw, and Landon Gaw. Mrs. Gaw"�s family will receive friends Saturday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
