Mary Elizabeth Grider

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Grider, age 74, of Cookeville, will be at 11 a.m. Monday, May 1, at Dyer Funeral Home with Bro. David Eldridge officiating. Interment will follow at the Allison Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, from 5 - 8 p.m. and again Monday from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. She was born March 3, 1943 in Sparta, TN to the late Sherman Braddom and Vela Davis Braddom. She is survived by her son, Herman Grider of Cookeville; three daughters and sons-in-laws, Nancy and Matt Roberts of Michigan, Lisa and Scott Humphrey of Glenn Fork, KY, and Sandra and David Kirby of Sparta; sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Bobby Lack of Sparta; three brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Jennifer Braddom of Baxter, Roger Braddom of Sparta, Billy and Kathy Braddom of Florida; four grandchildren, Ricky Grider, Mary Ann Grider, Lloyd Young, and Anna Bussell; and two great-grandchildren, Kalia Myler and Brendon Bussell. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Lilbern Grider. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Grider, Jackie Raines, James Braddom, Lloyd Young, Scott Humphrey and Herman Grider.
