Mary Dieringer

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Margaret Dieringer, 74, of Cookeville will be celebrated Friday, April 29 at 11 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Cookeville. Mrs. Dieringer died Saturday, April 16, 2016 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN. Mary was born April 5, 1942 in Columbus, Wisconsin to the late Rueben and Olive Derr Damm. She graduated from Columbus High School in 1960 and later received a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. Mary was a retired court reporter with the Social Security Administration in Cookeville and was a former owner of Big O Donut. She was an active member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, James Victor Dieringer (whom she married June 29, 1963 in East Bristol, Wisconsin), sons and daughters-in-law Christopher and Anne Dieringer of Matthews, North Carolina, Marcus Dieringer of Newburgh, Indiana, Nicholas and Sharon Dieringer of Murfreesboro, TN and Michael and Anna Lea Dieringer of Seattle, WA; grandchildren: Daniel, Rachel, Matthew, Celeste, Daphne, Ruby and Lucy Dieringer; sister and brother-in-law Dorothy and Robert Jorgensen of Springfield, VA; brothers and sisters-in-law Eugene and Phyllis Damm, Michael and Claire Damm all of Columbus, Wisconsin;
