Mary Charlene Speck

Funeral Services for Mary Charlene Speck, age 38, of Baxter, will be Monday, August 6, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Holly Springs Cemetery in Overton County. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 6, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service at the Funeral Home. Ms. Speck passed away Friday, August 3, 2012 at her home following a brief illness. Mary was born December 2, 1973 in Carthage TN to Charlie Odell Mayberry and Mary Ann Mansell. She attended Faith Fellowship Church with her family, and worked for the Herald-Citizen. Charlene is survived by her children; Phyllicia Rena Speck of Carthage, Blake Speck and Betheney Speck both of Baxter. In addition, she is survived by her parents; Charlie Odell Mayberry and Mary Mansell, one sister; Donna Cleghorn of Cookeville and two brothers; Charlie A. Mayberry (Jennifer) of Livingston and Joshua James “Jake” Mayberry (Angie) of Baxter. Mary is also survived by her children’s father Marty Speck of Carthage as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her grandparents. Pallbearers will be Blake Speck, Kody Moon, Marty Speck, Charlie A. Mayberry, Jerry Denson and Bubba Denson. Bro. J.C. Allen and Bro. Sterl Paramore will officiate the services.
