COOKEVILLE CHAPEL - Marty Darrell Masters, a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on January 3, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on March 22, 1960, in Cookeville, Tennessee, he filled his life with joy, creativity, and a willingness to uplift those around him.

Marty dedicated his career to working as a restoration technician in the water and fire cleanup and restoration industry, always bringing a sense of care and commitment to his work. His colleagues and clients will remember him for his pleasant demeanor and his ability to tackle challenges with a carefree spirit. He was truly a loveable person who would go out of his way to help others.

A proud graduate of Cookeville High School in 1977, Marty embodied the kind of talent and passion that leaves a lasting impression. He was not only recognized for his skills as a restoration technician but also as a gifted musician and painter. He played guitar in the local band, Steelhouse, where his love for music shone through. Alongside this, he found joy in collecting arrowheads, a hobby that reflected his appreciation for history and nature.

Marty’s greatest pride was his family.
