Martha Vayelene Gregory

Funeral services for Martha Vayelene Gregory, age 79, of Cookeville will be held Thursday, June 18 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Dyer Funeral Home with family members officiating. Interment will be in the West Cemetery in the Burgess Falls community at a later date. Due to COVID-19 precautions, social distancing will be observed. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 3 PM to 5 PM and Thursday 11 AM until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Gregory passed away Saturday, June 13, 2020 at her home. She was born May 26, 1941 in Cookeville, TN to the late William Haskell Judd and Dula Malinda Lindsey Judd. Martha attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She donated to Toys for Tots, Shriners and Boys Town. She enjoyed her flowers, bingo, and watching WWE Wrestling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Willie Judd, former husbands, Joe Gregory and Stanley Allen. She is survived by two sons, Joseph Gregory of Huntsville, AL and Joie Gregory of Stockbridge, GA; daughter, Regina Gentry of Cookeville, TN; grandchildren, Christina Root, Jason Steward, Dustin Steward, Jennifer Gregory, Kyle Gregory, Holden Gregory and Dylan Gregory.
