Martha Banks

Funeral Services for Martha Lieselotte Banks, of Cookeville will be Tuesday, Aug. 26 at 1 P.M. from the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Baxter. Rev. Jim Rogers will officiate. Mrs. Banks died Sunday Morning, August 24, 2014 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born in Germany to the late Robert and Anna Louise Edelmann. Survivors include husband of 63 years James Hunter Banks (whom she married April 16, 1951) in Germany;, daughter and son-in-law Nancy and Jeff Sibley of Cookeville, son and daughter-in-law Robert and Ginnie Banks of Millington, TN, Two grandchildren, Misty Hitchcock and husband Chris Salaniuk, Jeffrey Sibley and wife Jami, two step-grandchildren, Stephanie and husband David Lambert, Peggy Sissom, one great-grandchild., Alexander Salaniuk and two step-great-grandchildren, Haleigh Sissom and Stephen Lambert. Mrs. Banks family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 P.M. and after 12 Noon Tuesday at the funeral home.
