Marsha Ann Claborn

DYER CHAPEL-Marsha Ann Claborn, born on March 3, 1956, in Anderson, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Marsha was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her life was characterized by kindness, compassion, and a deep commitment to her faith.

 Marsha had a profound love for her Bible, often keeping it close, even resting with it beside her at night. Her faith was not only a personal journey but also a source of inspiration for those around her. Marsha was known for her gentle spirit and her comforting words, frequently saying, "Bless your heart," to uplift others.

Marsha is survived by her loving children, Casey Claborn, Gary Travis Cross (Mary), and Tracy Cross. She took great pride in her grandchildren-Tyler Cross, Alisa Rucker, Cameron Neal, Bubba Cross, Shady Weston, Hailey and Lanie Claborn, Elijah, Gabriel, and Casey Claborn Jr.-whose lives she enriched with her warmth and wisdom and a niece, Marcy Pooler.

 She is also survived by her siblings, Phillip Wilson and Brenda K. Nichols, who will remember her fondly for her caring nature and the strength of her character.

Marsha was preceded in death by her parents, JC Wilson and Ruby Colene Hammock Wilson, as well as her siblings, Bruce Wilson and Jeff Wilson. Their memories live on in the hearts of her family, who carry forward her legacy of love and kindness.

 A graveside service to honor Marsha’s life will be held on Wednesday January 29, 2025, at Netherland Cemetery beginning at 1:00 PM. Bro. Richard Harris will officiate. This gathering will provide an opportunity for family and friends to celebrate her remarkable life and the lasting impact she left on all who knew her. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
