Marlene White

Marlene Yvonne White, age 56 of Cookeville, passed away Saturday October 22, 2022 at her home.

Marlene was born March 3, 1966 in Orlando, FL.

She was raised and graduated from high school in Oakes, ND.

She moved to Cookeville in 1991. She has been an active member of Life Church for several years. She was the office manager at Dependable Auto Sales. Marlene was an avid bowler and enjoyed volunteering with community events including the WCTE Auction.

She is survived by her mother, Darlene Hausner of Henderson, NV; father, Lawrence DeGrie of Hillsboro, OH; Kathy Lee (fiance of Gary C. White) of Whapeton, North Dakota, daughter, Ashlee Marshall of Cookeville; siblings, Larry DeGrie of Murfreesboro, Robert (Beth) Degrie of Hillsboro, Kristy (Dean) McKenzie of Cookeville, Royce (Eve) DeGrie of Brentwood, TN, Connie White of Henderson, NV, Dorthy White of Oakes, ND, and Debbie (Ben) Gibby of Cleveland, TN; and grandchildren, Braiden Underwood, Amara Marshall, Gracie Marshall, Ava Underwood, and Ryker Marshall.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gary Curtis White; step-mom, Marcie Ann DeGrie, and step-father, Siegmar Hausner.
