Marilyn Grivich

Ms. Marilyn Grivich, age 71 of Monterey, a former resident of Memphis and Nashville, died Monday May 23, 2022 at her residence. She was born 1950 in Memphis, TN to the late Frank and Mabel (Fran) Milner. She graduated from the former Memphis State University, earning a bachelor's degree in interior design. Marilyn enjoyed her career in commercial interior design and textile sales as she traveled the country, met many interesting people and had many wonderful experiences. Her work included employment for the former Robert Allen company in New York. She was a talented artist, painter and enjoyed collecting art. She was friendly, outgoing and a people person. She loved spending time outdoors in nature hiking, camping and bird watching. She was an animal lover and especially loved her feline companions. She is survived by sister, April Tuech (husband, Douglas) of Cookeville; step-daughter, Gina Farrar (husband, Dan) of Boulder, CO, niece, Julie Ellis (husband, Jonathan) of Nashville; and nephew, Jason Bailey (wife, Laura) of Paducah, KY.
