Marie Boland

Funeral services for Mrs. Marie Minnie Delcamp Boland, 95 of Crossville, TN and formerly of Auburndale, FL and Niobe, NY will be held Sunday March 30 at 1 pm in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Rev. Roger Cooper will officiate. Interment will follow at Crest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Boland died Friday morning March 28, 2014 at her residence. She was born July 26, 1918 in Portland, NY to the late George and Minnie Bremer Delcamp. Mrs. Boland was a loving mother and hard-working wife as she raised her family while maintaining a dairy farm. She also worked in a citrus production plant in Florida. She loved gardening, nature's beauty, and watching her family grow. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 63 years, Gerald W. Boland; her son, Roger Boland; and by her eight siblings. She is survived by three daughters, Bonnie Jacobs Clyatt, Elaine Havlik and Diane Barnes Owens all of Crossville, 14 grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and by one great, great grandson. Mrs. Boland's grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Boland's family suggest memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Cumberland County, 30 East Adams Street, Crossville, TN 38555.
