Funeral Services for Mrs. Margie Irene (Randolph) Parham, age 87 of Cookeville, will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 24, in the Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow Crest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Parham died Wednesday morning August 21, 2013 in Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was b orn August 7, 1926 in Putnam County to the late Crockett and Stella Mae (LaFever) Randolph. She was a loving devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. She loved and cherished spending time with her family. She was a member of Wilhite Baptist Church and was a devoted Christian lady who was always active in serving in her church. She enjoyed reading and her favorite book being her Bible. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, James Frank Parham; two grandsons, Craig Wieland and Andrew Elliott; and a sister, Sue Stringer. Survivors include three daughters, and sons-in-law, Pam and Mark Stephens of Cookeville, Ann and Dave Webb of Peoria, AZ, and Sarah and Ron Ryan of Geneva, OH; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Kellie Parham of Plymouth, MA, Gordon and Susan Parham of Hermitage, TN, and Dwight and Janice Parham of Willoughby Hills, OH; Eleven grandchildren, Tracey Parham, Matthew (Wendy) Parham, Dawn (Matthew) Berry, Kimberly (Woody) Cox, Andrew (Amanda) Webb, Tom (Jaclyn) Webb, Amanda Parham, Natalie Parham, Joshua Ryan, Michael Ryan, and Stephen Elliot; eight great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Hannah, and Abigail Cox, Dustin Parham, Alexia Kirkland, Maddie Parham, Lincoln Nemanic, Brookelynn Berry and soon to be # nine, Savannah Berry; four sisters, Jewell (J.L) Watts of Cookeville, Ruth Holman, Dorothy "Dot" Spivey, and Nita (David) Wilson all of Sparta; and her brother, Clayton (Marie) Randolph of Baxter. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation One Vantage Way Suite D-200 Nashville, TN 37228. Rev. Jerry Buckner and Rev. Tim Miles will officiate at the services.
