Graveside service and interment for Margie Rosetta “MRS. MICK” Anderson, 88 of Baxter, will be Saturday, May 2 at 1 PM at Crest Lawn Cemetery. Bro. Tim Sharp and her grandson, Bro. Toby Johnson will officiate. Mrs. Anderson died Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at Mabry Health Care & Rehab in Gainesboro, TN. She was born January 14, 1932 in Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana to the late Verold and Hazel Etta Adams Lackey. In addition to her parents, She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Harold Richard “RICH” Anderson on April 25, 2019, a son Larry Richard Anderson, a daughter Nancy Elizabeth Anderson Johnson, sisters Nellie Gabbart, Maxine Whiteaker, Barbara McClain, brother Bobbie John Lackey. She was a member of Boma First Church of God. At church she served in the nursery for over 30 years and 19 years in the card ministry, sending out over 100, 000 cards. She was retired seamstress with Cookeville Pants Factory with 24 years of service. She altered clothes for people in the church and community never charging for her work. She also made clothes for children in Haiti and costumes for church dramas and school plays. She made curtains for the Church of God state facility at Camp Overton in Warren County, TN. Survivors include grandsons: Toby and wife Susan Johnson of Indianapolis, IN, Andy Johnson of Knoxville, great-grandchildren: Caleb, Austin, Emilie, Georgia, Joshua, Anna and Tucker Johnson, a host of nieces and nephews, her church family, special friends, Tony and Jeanie Lee. There will be no visitation at the funeral home, family will gather at the cemetery. Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements (931)858-2134.
