Margaret Price

Margaret Estella Price, age 79 of Sebring, FL, passed away Wednesday December 29, 2021 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. No services are planned. Margaret was born December 30, 1941 in Stuart, FL to the late Daniel Calvin Markel and Gloria Adele Sanders Markel. She worked and volunteered at various jobs including being a volunteer with Disabled American Veterans in Sebring, FL; a manager for Tom Thumbs in Key West, FL; a manager for Farm Store in Cooper City, FL; a factory worker for Amphenol in Hollywood, FL; and a factory worker for Garret Hydraulic in Sunrise, FL. She loved watching NASCAR racing; Dale Earnhardt was her favorite driver. Later, Dale Earnhardt Jr. became her favorite driver. She loved listening to country music and line dancing. She really loved being with family and attending family gatherings. She is survived by two daughters, Donna (Daniel) Shaw of Sparta, TN and Sherrie Dunlap of Summerfield, NC; son, Jack Dunlap of West Palm Beach, FL; sisters, Peggy Estes of Sebring, FL; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ismael Avila; two sisters, Patricia West and Pamela Chancey; and two brothers, Daniel and Ernie Markel.
