She was born December 9, 1944 in Bristol, Virginia to the late Wavely and Venus Johnson Carrier. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband of 55 years (Married September 28, 1963) Sherman E. Lynch of Cookeville, daughter Julie Stout of Kingston, Tn, son Jeff Lynch of Cookeville, brother Don Carrier of Atlanta, GA, grandchildren: Anna Stout and Davey Stout, Ellie Lynch and Sophie Lynch.
