Marcella Bilbrey

Lettie Marcella Bilbrey, age 81 of Cookeville, passed away Friday December 3, 2021 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Private family services will be at a later date. She was born in Dekalb County, TN to the late Oscar and Sally Daisy Cole Johnson. Marcella was retired from JC Penney. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Gene Bilbrey Sr.; daughters, Vickie Lynn Bilbrey, Sherrie (Kirk) Linger; son, Gene (Lisa) Bilbrey all of Cookeville; sisters, Geneva Floyd of White County, TN, Patricia Green of Nashville, and Vivian Boswell of Cookeville; grandchildren, Dylan Bilbrey, Kayla (Dakota) Dickens, Amanda (Trey) Thomas, Ashton (Chad) White, and Bo Papagna; great grandchildren, William Thomas, Mason, Shelby, and Bristol White. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Laura Gene Bilbrey; sisters, Ivah Hayes, Mattie Johnson, and Mildred Trump; brothers, Bill, Oren, Carl and Hershell Johnson.
