Lyndzy Bounds

A memorial service for Miss Lyndzy Anise Bounds, age 23 of Cookeville and formerly of Jackson and Kosciusko, Mississippi, will be held Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 3:00 pm in the Cookeville chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Pastor Stephen Morrison will officiate. Her family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Miss Bounds died Sunday February 6, 2022 at her residence. She was born July 2, 1998 in Jackson, MS to Michael Bounds and Zoe (fiance, Jason Means) Cook. She was a 2016 graduate of Kosciusko, MS. She also moved to Cookeville and has been employed as a home health direct support professional (DSP) with Community Options. She had a strong work ethic and was dedicated in serving her patients. She enjoyed time spent at home with her family and friends. Miss Bounds was preceded in death by grandfather, Pic Moore. In addition to her parents, Lyndzy is survived by sisters, Bianca (Jeremy) Hawlik, Sparta and Haleigh Watkins of Cookeville; grandparents, Linda and Douglas Bounds, Melvin Cook and Faye Moore; nieces and nephews, Alexander, Chloe, Michael, and Guinevere Hawlik; step brother, Alexander Means; stepfather, John (Joy) Watkins. She is also survived by her dog, Blue and two cats, Caesar and Spud. Memorial contributions are asked to be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
