Lucille Ford

Funeral services for Mrs. Lucille Odell Ford, age 96 of Cookeville, will be held Friday, August 18, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Cookeville chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Tony Phipps will officiate. Interment will follow in Sand Springs Memorial Gardens.

Her family will receive friends Friday from 10am until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Ford died Monday morning, August 14, 2023 at Heritage Pointe Senior Living.

She was born September 13, 1926 in Toledo, Ohio to the late James E. Smith and Stella Robinson Smith.

She is survived by her children Juna Hutton (Ron), Patricia Lynn (Chuck), Dennis Ford, Tony Ford (Theresa), seven Grandchildren, & twelve Great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by five brothers and sisters. James Smith (Ann), Willene James, Margie Copeland, Freeman Smith (Geraldine), and Ray Smith (Sue).

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Ford, Jr.; her son, David Ford; sisters, Pauline Gentry and Aline Bohannon, brothers, Arvil Smith and her twin brother Louis Smith.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
