Lovie Williams

Mrs. Lovie Mae Walker Williams, age 94 of Cookeville, passed away Monday, January 28, 2019. Her family will receive friends Friday, February 1st from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Cookeville chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. A private graveside service and interment will be held Saturday, February 2nd at Crest Lawn Cemetery with Bob Farris officiating. She was born March 4, 1924 in Clay County, TN to the late Clure V. and Mollie Belle Reecer Walker. Lovie's life was devoted to family. She was a homemaker, loving sister and spent many years caring for her mother and father. She loved her family and cherished every moment with her daughter and granddaughter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, George Walker, Hazel Walker (infant), Sylvia Spidel, Belva Brown, Marie Scott, Lewis Walker and Jewel Harper. She is survived by daughter, Pamela Clarkson; granddaughter, Kelly Clarkson, both of Cookeville; brothers, Robert Walker and wife Edith of Muncie, IN and Donald Walker and wife Donna Gaye of Arcadia, IN; and by special caregivers, Judy Hoskins and Cathy Brown.
