Louise Elizabeth Kirby

Funeral Services for Louise Elizabeth Kirby, age 102, of Franklin and formerly of Cookeville, will be Monday, November 26, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Crest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, November 26, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until Time of the Service. Mrs. Kirby passed away Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Maristone Assisted Living of Franklin in Franklin TN. She was born January 16, 1910 in Lebanon TN to the late Matt Knight and Loretta Edwards Knight. Mrs. Kirby loved to read, was a member and sang in the choir of her church, Wilhite Baptist Church, enjoyed knitting and crocheting working with genealogy and crossword puzzles. Mrs. Kirby is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Barnie Clouse Kirby, four brothers; William Knight, John Richard Knight, Alfred Earl Knight and Harry Knight, as well as two sisters; Stella Baksin and mamie Duarte. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Bro. Rick Burnett and Bro. Tim Miles will be conducting the services.
