Lou Conner

Mrs. Lula (Lou) M Conner, age 81, of Algood, passed away Thursday morning February 14, 2019 at Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville. Funeral services for Mrs. Conner will be at 1 p.m. Monday February 18 at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. Bro Larry Acuff, Bro. Doyle Crawford, and Bro. John Chowning will officiate. Interment will follow at Algood City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4 - 8 p.m. and again Monday from 11 a.m. until service time. Mrs. Conner was born June 17, 1937 in Overton County, TN to the late George Flemons Wilson and Rebecca Jane Ray Wilson. She was member of Algood Church of Christ. She formerly owned and operated Lou's Hair Fashions in Algood. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Louise Gibson, and Tean Pickenbrock; four brothers, Norman, Clayton, Bethel, and Thurman Wilson; and step-granddaughter, Nicole Rachelle Huddleston. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, James Conner, whom she married December 21, 1963 in Livingston; son, Jimmy (Evelyn) Conner of Cookeville; daughter, Tammy Conner of Cookeville; and step-grandson, Jacob Tyler Huddleston.
