Lorell Ora Cole Roberts

Graveside Funeral Services for Mrs. Lorell Ora Cole Roberts, age 82, of Cookeville, will be Monday, June 4, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the McElroy Cemetery in Bone Cave TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 3, 2012 in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Roberts passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Master’s Health Care Center in Algood TN. Lorell was born April 10, 1930 in Bone Cave to the late James Walter and Minnie Belle Banker Cole. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Mrs. Roberts was of the Baptist faith, and worked for several years at NHC of Cookeville. Lorell is survived by two daughters: Patricia Marohn and Dale Sullivan both of Cookeville, and one son: Phil (Rosie) Roberts of Woodhaven MI. In addition, she is survived by two sisters: Betty Jean (Harold) Sprague of Delphi IN and Charlene Russell of Bone Cave TN, and one brother, Herbert (Betty) Cole of Frankfort IN. Mrs. Roberts was grandmother to six grandchildren: John Spangenburgh, Gregory Marohn, Chad Roberts, Sarah (Billy) Holbert, Elijah Sullivan, and Charm Sullivan, and great-grandmother to six great-grandchildren: Quinton, Cash, Treasure, Journey, Donovan, and Chloe. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her children’s father, Floyd Ray Roberts, one son, Gerald Ray Roberts, one grandson, Raymond Carl Sullivan, two brothers: Howard Cole and Andy Cole, and four sisters: Delma Bryant, Lorrene Watkins, Mary Jo Etter, and Harmon Marie Luther.
