BAXTER-Funeral services for Lisa Gail Boyd, 50 of Baxter, will be Friday, December 4 at 1 pm from the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Cemetery. Lisa died suddenly, Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born July 10, 1965 in Putnam County to Delma Kathleen Elrod Boyd of Baxter and the late James Darrel Boyd. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by grandparents: O. E. and Glenner Scarlett Boyd and Albert Riley and Gladys Elrod. She was a 1983 graduate of Upperman High School in Baxter. She attended Tennessee Tech University and cosmetology school. She was a licensed cosmetologist before becoming disabled due to her health. She was a member of Union Grove Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors beside her mother include daughters and son-in-law Brittany and Matt Haggard of Baxter, Felicia Phillips of Cookeville, sister and brother-in-law Katherine and Rick Lineberry of Baxter, grandchildren: Kayson Phillips, Azrael Linder and Millie Jo Haggard, nieces and husbands: Jamie and Matt Trebing, Kristi and T. J. Pendergrass, great nieces and nephews: Marcie and Jake Trebing, Sam and Spencer Pendergrass. Bro. Harold Walker will officiate. Family will receive friends Thursday from 4 to 8 pm and after 11 am Friday at the funeral home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
