Funeral services for Linda "�Winkie"� Faye Williams, 68, of Salyersville, KY and formerly of Cookeville will be held Monday, October 10 at 1 p.m. in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home with interment to follow in Paran Cemetery. Dr. Steve Ayers will officiate. Mrs. Williams died suddenly Friday morning, October 7, 2011 at her home. She was born July 28, 1943 in Putnam County, TN to the late Draper and Delcie Lane Harris. Mrs. Williams was a member of Hillvue Heights Baptist Church in Bowling Green, KY and she was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Harris. Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband, Garry Williams (whom she married March 3, 1962 in Cookeville); two sons and a daughter-in-law, Mitch and Melanie Williams of Bowling Green, KY; and Garry Williams, Jr. of Van Buren, AR; a daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Jeff Wilson of Louisville, KY; seven grandchildren, Max and Tyson Wilson, Dustin and Walker Williams, Chryssa and Jacoda Williams, and Brooke Lloyd; one great grandchild, Cody Shane Drywater, one brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Paula Harris of Cookeville. The family will receive friends Sunday 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Monday 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
