Linda Williams

Linda Sharon Williams, age 70, of Baxter, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Memorial graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday February 15 at Cookeville City Cemetery.

Linda was born May 12, 1952 in Cookeville to the late Edward "Tommy" Bilyeu and Anna Sims Bilyeu.

She was a retired nurse from Cookeville Regional Medical Center, and formerly NHC HomeCare of Cookeville, where she considered it her honor and privilege to serve and provide care for her patients.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Williams; daughter, Michelle (Jason) Hale of Cookeville; step-sons, Bryan Williams and Brett (Jennifer) Williams all of Cookeville; brother, Bill (Doris) Bilyeu of Cookeville; sister, Carol Wasmund of Huntsville, AL; and grandchildren, Anna and Audrey Hale.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Joann Steel and Betty Sue Holloway.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are encouraged to be made to Linda's beloved charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
