Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Sue Thomas, 68 of Silver Point, will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 1 at the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home with Larry Briggs officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5 – 8 p.m. Mrs. Thomas died suddenly Sunday, November 29, 2015 at her home. She was born September 29, 1947 in San Bernardino, CA to the late Warren G. and Jean West Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Brenton Smith. Linda was a loving homemaker who cared for her husband and family. She loved spending time with her grandkids and cooking for others. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Norman Thomas (whom she married September 23, 1966 in Madison Heights, MI); two daughters, Shelly Thomas-Primeau of Utica, MI and Melissa Bless of Chesterfield, MI; son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Carol Thomas of Sterling Heights, MI; two sisters, Sue Larson of Silver Point, TN and Jeanine Nichols of Algood, TN; four grandchildren, Taylor Primeau, Austin and Dimitri Bless, and Alyssa Thomas.
