Linda Rogers

The funeral for Linda Ruth Warren Rogers, 78, of Arvada, CO, formerly of Cookeville, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 16 at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home with Rev. Merlin Watts officiating. Interment will follow at Paran Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 12 to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Rogers died Saturday, January 9, 2016 in Arvada CO. She was born to the late mother, Martha Daffo Allen Warren; father, Jim Doss Warren Linda, was a wonderful, loving wife and mother and will be remembered for her hard work and southern cooking. She enjoyed numerous hobbies including needlepoint, crocheting and collecting figurines and tea pots. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Barrie Eugene Rogers; her brothers Jim Warren and Jack Warren. Survivors include her children, Tony Rogers and wife Dianne of Athens, AL Jane Ann Miller and husband Kent of Arvada, CO, and Jeannie Borland of Frisco, TX; three grandchildren, Bradley Rogers, Brian Rogers and Ryan Miller; four great-grandchildren, Tyler Rogers, Zade Rogers, Mikaya Rogers and Mae Rogers; and niece and nephews Tracy Guyon de Chemilly, Chris Warren, Joey Warren, and Stephen Warren. Pallbearers will be Ryan Miller, Brad Rogers, Brian Rogers, Sam Warren, Chris Warren and Joey Warren. Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements (931) 526-6111.
