Linda Phy

Graveside services and interment for Mrs. Linda June Phy, age 71 of Cookeville, will be held Thursday December 10 at 1 p.m. at Smith Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Sonny Gilpatrick officiating. Linda's family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Linda died suddenly Tuesday morning December 8, 2015 in Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born June 28, 1944 in Putnam County, Tennessee to the late Dave and Ada Earlene Henley Bartlett. She was a homemaker and a former member of Zion Church of Christ. Linda was a loving mother and grandmother and adored her cat and humming birds. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn Ray Phy and brother, James Bartlett. Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Tim Brashears, Pam and David Smith, and Kathy and Joel Hammons; five grandchildren, Zach, Makayla, Ethan, Kaitlyn, and Emily; and her brother, Bill Bartlett all of Cookeville.
