Lillian R. Robinson

Funeral services for Lillian R. Robinson, age 86, of Saint Clair MI, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 from the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Zion Church of Christ Cemetery in Jackson County. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2009. Mrs. Robinson passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2009 at Port Huron Hospital in Michigan. She was born January 5, 1923, in Putnam County to the late Russell and Leora Allen. Originally of Cookeville, Lillian spent the last twelve years in Michigan. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, crocheting, and doing genealogy. She married Oscar Robinson in 1947, he preceded her in death in 1995. Mrs. Robinson was the Loving Mother of: David and wife Susan Robinson of St Clair, MI, Ronald and wife Marilyn Robinson of Farmington Hills, MI, Robert and wife Mary Jean Robinson of St Clair, MI, Fred and wife Cathryn Robinson of Almont, MI, and Richard and wife Cindy Robinson of Roseville, MI: and one brother Ralph Allen of Cookeville. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Lillian was preceded in death by sisters Sue Williams and Marie Maxwell and grandson Keegan Robinson Brother Johnny Fox will officiate the services. The family has requested memorial contributions be made to the Zion Church of Christ.
