Miss Lilah Harris Clack, age 83 of Cookeville, died Wednesday December 29, 2021 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born March 10, 1938 in Dunlap, TN to the late William Harris and Irene Farmer Clack. She earned a B.S. from Tennessee Tech University and a master's degree from Middle Tennessee State University. She was employed as a researcher at Vanderbilt Hospital and as a network planner with the former South Central Bell. She was a member of Cookeville First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Stewart and Randall Johnson. She is survived by niece, Mary Jane (Eddie) Nipper, of Cookeville; nephew, Joe (Jan) Johnson of Chesterfield, MO; great nephews, Eric Nipper and Tyler Johnson and by great nieces, Rachel Nipper and Emily Johnson. At Lilah's request, there will be no visitation, funeral or memorial services. Inurnment will take place at Rankin Cemetery in Dunlap, TN at a later date. Memorial contributions are suggested to be made to Rankin Cemetery, c/o Dewayne Sutherland, 157 Spur Ridge Rd., Dunlap, TN 37327. Hooper Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
