Leslie Crawford

Funeral services for Mrs. Leslie Crawford, 97, of Cookeville, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 7, in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home with Bro. Buddy Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Crest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Crawford died Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Bethesda Health Care Center. She was born January 4, 1918 in Cumberland County, TN, to the late Robert and Susan Farmer Smith. Mrs. Crawford was a member of Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ. She formerly worked in Food Services at TTU. She is survived by; niece, Nola Smith of Nashville; nephews, Morris Smith, Raymond Smith both of Crossville, Donald Smith of Springfield, and David Smith of Dennison, TX; and special friends, William and Inez Dunn of Cookeville. Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband of 60 years, Ernest Crawford (who died April 5, 2002); brothers, Herman Smith, Robert Smith, Delbert Smith, Harrell Smith, and nephew, Royce Smith. Pallbearers will be friends and family.
