Lee Meadows

BAXTER-Funeral services for William Lee Meadows, 69 of Silver Point, will be Saturday, February 18 at 12 Noon at the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the John Young Cemetery in the Shiloh Community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends Friday from 5 to 7 PM and after 10 AM Saturday until service time at the funeral home. Bro. Tony Crow will officiate.

Mr. Meadows died Friday, February 10, 2023 in Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

He was born October 10, 1953 in Gainesboro, TN to the late Luke and Ruth Richmond Meadows.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Casey Meadows and a sister, Mary Cunningham.

Lee attended Silver Point Baptist Church.

He was a foreman and heavy equipment operator with Crowder Construction Company in Lebanon and previously with Earhart Construction Company in Mt. Juliet. He was a member of the NRA, enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting his guns and enjoyed doing his job and doing it well.

Lee enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially the grandkids.

He and his wife, enjoyed traveling, going to Hawaii, Niagara Falls and New York City.

Survivors include wife of 37 years (Married December 22, 1985) Carla Dhority Meadows, daughters Autumn Meadows and husband Brent Whitehead and Chelsea Meadows all of Silver Point, son Samuel Lee Meadows of Cookeville, sister Linda Meadows, brothers Gerald (Gail) Meadows, Bob (Sharon) Meadows all of Cookeville, Larry (Patricia) Meadows of Bloomington Springs, grandchildren: Skyler Meadows, Jordan Schipp, Christopher Braswell, Neva Whitehead, Nate Whitehead and Isaac Way Meadows.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dakota Newberry, Jamie Meadows, Coby Hamlet, Skyler Meadows, Starbuck Hunt & Steve Westfall.
