Ladonna Louise Darty

Services for LaDonna Louise Darty, age 59 of Cookeville, will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. January 13, 2012 in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening January 12, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. A private entombment to be held at a later date at Flatt-Woolbright Cemetery in Jackson County. Mrs. Darty died Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. She was born September 15, 1952 in Putnam County, TN to Benjamin Harvey Fields JR. and Doris Woolbright Fields. She was a counselor at Indian Mound Boys’ Home. LaDonna is survived by her mother, Doris Woolbright Fields of Cookeville, TN; one sister, Joy (Anthony)Campbell of Cookeville; two brothers, Ronnie (Jean) Fields of Rickman and Orvil “Bozie” (Arleen) Fields of Norwood, OH. LaDonna is also survived by several nieces—Angie Fleming, Brandy Pippen, Sheila Rhae Pippen, and April Whitaker and nephews—Ben Fields, Brian Bohannon, Dewayne Pippen, Andrew Campbell, Rick Danner, Stephen Weidle, Josh Fields, Stephen Fields, Bobby Bristow, Anthony Bristow and Richard and David Fields. She is survived by a special friend, Eugene Ganson. In addition to her father Benjamin Harvey Fields, Mrs. Darty was preceded by two brothers Tommy Fields and Benny Fields and a special friend Jackie Proffitt. Pallbearers will be friends and family. Times and dates of entombment will be announced at a later.
