Dean's proudest accomplishment was raising his two children, Lane Moore and Lara Moore Mowery, and helping raise his five grandchildren Aidan and Adeleine Moore, and Andrew, Benjamin, and Jacob Mowery. Gardening and traveling the world were his life long passions. He planted acres of daffodils, tulips, iris, lilies and wildflowers that were the backdrop for photography sessions for his friends and neighbors throughout Middle Tennessee.
