Keith Richardson

Funeral services for Keith Gale Richardson, 79, of Algood will be held Saturday, November 26 at 10 a.m. in the Algood Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. Interment, with military honors, will follow in Algood Cemetery. Bro. Steve Riley will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. until service time at the Algood Chapel. Mr. Richardson died suddenly Tuesday afternoon November 22, 2011 at his home. He was born November 24, 1931 in the Willow Grove community of Clay County, TN to the late Andrew and Beulah Stover Richardson. Mr. Richardson was a member of Northeast Church of Christ. For 24 years, he owned and operated Richardson"�s Grocery in Algood. He was a U.S. Army Korean Conflict veteran serving two tours with the U.S. Army 279th Infantry Regiment. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Jewell Hensley and Margaret Richardson and a brother, James Richardson. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Claudine Crawford Richardson of Algood (whom he married November 21, 1956 in Algood), two sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Denise Richardson of Knoxville; Mike and Lori Richardson of Cookeville; three grandchildren, Adam Richardson, Cody Richardson, and Elora Richardson, brother and sister-in-law, Denny and Floy Richardson of Cookeville. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
