Funeral services for Mrs. Anita (Keeble) Sutton Daniel, 81 of Cookeville, will be conducted Thursday August 23 at 1pm in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crest Lawn Cemetery. Dr. Charles McCaskey will officiate. Mrs. Daniel passed away peacefully Tuesday morning August 21st at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Keeble was born September 20, 1930 in Baxter to the late James Taylor (J.T.) and Velma Esta Allison Dunavin. Mrs. Daniel was a graduate of Baxter Seminary. She was a bookkeeper and homemaker and was a member of the Cookeville First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband of 44 years, Walter Evans Sutton; three sisters, Elise Green, Lillian Sutton, and Louise Swallows; brother, Blanchard Dunavin. Mrs. Daniel is survived by her husband of 10 years, Arthur "�Shorty"� Daniel; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Wayne Shanks; three grandchildren, Tiffany Davidson and husband Matt of Cookeville, Andrea Langley and husband Drew of Knoxville, and Wes Shanks and wife Alex of Cookeville; three great-grandchildren, Easton Matthew Davidson, Graham Warren Davidson, and Baylor Kate Davidson; and one brother-in-law, Lennel Sutton of Hawkinsville, GA. Jack and Barry Daniel, Mike Scarlett, Harold L. Maynard, Tom England, Danny and Daniel Sutton, will serve as pallbearers. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cookeville First Cumberland Presbyterian Church at 565 East 10th Street Cookeville, TN 38501 (931) 528-8587 The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm and again on Thursday from 11am until time of service at the funeral home.
