Kathleen (Kay) Uel (Worthington) Clark, 95, passed away peacefully, in her sleep on Saturday, October 13, 2018 in Cookeville, TN (Bailey Manor). She was born July 8, 1923 in Chattanooga, TN, the daughter of Uel Lucretia (Million) and George Hutsel Worthington. She married Shirley Dekle Clark on Oct. 24, 1942 in Atlanta, GA. They had been married 50 years when he passed away on May 16, 1994. Kay is succeeded by one daughter, Ann Worthington (Clark) Maffett (Phil); two grandsons, Mark Baylis Maffett (Wanda) and Douglas Clark Maffett (Molly); and five great grandchildren, Abigail Rose, Benjamin Baylis, Jude Hughes, Tyne Prudence and Padraig True. She as a lifelong member and supporter of Scott Boulevard Baptist Church in Decatur, GA. Interment will be at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Tucker, GA. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at a private family gathering.
