Funeral Services for Kathryn "KATIE" Sue Medley, 62 of Lenoir City, TN will be Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014 at 11 A.M. from the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Crest Lawn Cemetery. Mrs. Medley died Sunday, December 29, 2013 at her home. She was born October 15, 1951 in Bluffton, Indiana to the late Doice and Velma Moore House. She was a member of Wolf Creek Baptist Church and loved growing flowers. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sister Clara Agee, brother John Wilson and sister-in-law Ginger Medley. Survivors include husband of 41 years (whom she married June 17, 1972 in DeKalb County, TN) Ronald "RON" Medley of Lenoir City, 2 sisters and brothers-in-law Margie and Roy Christian of Buffalo Valley, Doris and Joseph Watson of Ft. Wayne, IND., sisters and brothers-in-law Diane & Bill Davidson and John Medley all of Cookeville, Renee & Mark Smothers of College Station, TX, Perry & Lesa Medley, Jacque & Ted Trebing all of Buffalo Valley, Sheila Medley and Richard & Angie Medley all of Silver Point, host of nieces and nephews, Special Friend Patricia Hickman of Lenoir City. Bro. Donnie Agee will officiate. Nephews will serve as pallbearers Family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 to 8 P.M. and Wednesday after 9 A.M. at the funeral home.
