Kathryn Fields

Kathryn Marie Fields passed away February 23, 2015, at the age of 93. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 14 at 2:00 p.m. at Granville United Methodist Church with Rev. Joe Johnson officiating. Visitation will immediately follow the memorial service at the church. Kathryn was a member of the Granville United Methodist Church and a former member of St. Mark's Presbyterian Church in Hudson Florida, where she sang in the choir. Kathryn spent twenty-five years of her adult life as a first grade teacher in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. Born on January 7, 1922, in Green Village, New Jersey, Kathryn was the only child to Harry W. Hardt and Cora Fritts Hardt. She is survived by two sons and their wives: Dr. Richard Fields & Sue Hawkes and Barry & Jaye Fields all of Granville; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Fields and her parents.
