Kathleen Francis Harlow

Funeral Services for Mrs. Kathleen (Kay) Francis Harlow (formerly Long), age 75 of Cookeville, will be held Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 12:00 noon in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 6, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service. An additional service and showing will be held at the Penzien and Steel Funeral Home. Showing will be Friday, November 7 and funeral service Saturday, November 8, 2014 with the burial in Floral Garden Cemetery in Bay City MI. Mrs. Harlow was born May 25, 1939 in Bay City, MI to the late Everett Edwin Wood and Ella Emma Ostermann. She loved to work with flowers and in her garden. Kay enjoyed a long and fruitful life, always honoring God, and is now resting peacefully with her Heavenly Father. Kay is survived by her husband, Bobby (Bob) Harlow, three daughters; Rhonda (Mark) Jeske of Holly, MI, Linda (Lee) Lambert & Trisha (Chuck) Walkowiak both of Bay City, MI; one son, Randall (Tammy) Long of Bay City, MI; one step-son, Michael Harlow of San Diageo, Ca; two brothers, Art Wood of FL, & Fredrick Wood of Rhoades, MI and sisters, Eleanor Verellen, Audrey Jankens both of Bay City, MI. In addition Kay is survived by 10 grandchildren: Shannon, Jordan, Keith, Weston, Adam, Troy, Whitney, Luke, Lindsay, Tyler; 4 step-grandchildren: Ary, Adam, Austin, Charlie, Aaron, and 7 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Harlow was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey S. Long, and her brother, Lawrence Wood and step-daughter, Julie Harlow. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Gideons International, or “Hands That Help” Trust at any US Bank. Tennessee Pallbearers will be Royce Clinton, William Withers, Eddy Stewart, Bob Snow, David Wilson and Bruce Morehead. Michigan Pallbearers will be Adam Long, Troy Long, Keith Stratton, Weston Stratton, Luke Lambert, Tyler Long. (Tennessee)-Bro Gary West and Bro Jerry Pullum will be conducting the services.
