Graveside services and interment for Mrs. Loula Karen "GiGi" Tubb, age 61 of Knoxville and formerly of Sparta, will be conducted Tuesday September 1 at 11 a.m. (C.S.T.) at Highland Cemetery in Sparta. Rev. Mark Gaw will officiate and special words will be shared by Bill Tubb. Karen's family will receive friends immediately following the services at the cemetery. Karen died suddenly Saturday August 29, 2015 at her home. She was born June 27, 1954 in Sparta to Mrs. Betty Jeanne Yaggi Tubb of Sparta and the late Stanton Dibrell Tubb. Karen received her BS Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and worked several years as Operations Supervisor with the A C Moore Company. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and Christian. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Cory Crowell of Knoxville; son and daughter-in-law, Howard and Beth Gaw of Cookeville; two grandchildren, the loves of her life, Maverick Crowell and Michael Gaw; two sisters, Emilee and husband Mark Matteau of Johnson City, TN and Jeanne Tubb of Stuart FL; and her brother, Bill and his wife Martha Tubb of Cape Coral, FL. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Young Williams Animal Center 3201 Division St Knoxville, TN 37919 www.young-williams.org.
