Karen Jeffers

Karen Gayle Bell Jeffers, 61 of Cookeville died Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Her wishes of cremation and no service are being honored. She was born November 19, 1959 in Houston, Texas to the late Walter Scott Bell and Mildred Norris Bell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Mildred Katherine "Kathy" Bell, Sandra "Sister" McGee and Donna Kay Bell Brezina. She was a waitress before becoming ill. Karen liked to read, crochet and spending time with the grandchildren. Survivors include husband, Steven Jeffers; daughters, Yvette (Mario) Saldana of Murfreesboro, Beverly (Nick) Madden of Hendersonville and Katherine Jeffers of Dowelltown; son, Steven Jeffers and significant other Jessica Upchurch of Cookeville; sister, Brenda Bell Schneider of Dallas, TX; brother, Marion "Bubba" Forbis of Slidell, LA; grandchildren: Angelo Stewart, Jr., Donovan Stewart, Alyssa Saldana, Brian DuGuay, Gabriel Jeffers and James Madden.
