Karen Brady

Funeral services for Mrs. Karen Olive Brady, 60 of Monterey will be held Monday March 17 at 5 p.m. at Horner Funeral Home. Rev. Richard Buckner will officiate. Mrs. Brady's family will receive friends Sunday from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and again Monday from 4 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Brady died Friday afternoon March 14, 2014 in Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville. She was born September 29, 1953 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Bradley J. and Joyce G. Ragel Smith. Mrs. Brady was a loving sister, wife and mother. She enjoyed making crafts and playing computer games. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Michelle Funke and Brenda Smith; and by a brother, Bradley Smith. Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Ernest Dovell Brady, Sr (whom she married October 23, 1970 in Detroit); sons, Ernest Brady Jr and Alan Brady; daughters Carolyn Ward-Tucker (Marty Tucker) all of Monterey and Tera Brady (Brandon Brown) of Crossville, ten grandchildren, Courtney, Ashley and William Brady, Kyle, Megan and Evan Ward, Brianna Ward-Tucker, Lilly Brady, Lincoln Brady-Brown and Kylar Chandler; sister, Linda Leach of Pine Knob MI, and by a brother, B. R. Smith of Battle Creek, MI.
